I’ve purchased canvas reusable bags to stop using plastic ones at the grocery, but I’ll admit that I’m not perfect about remembering to take them back to the car after I unpack my haul. Of course, I have an ungodly stash of these plastic shopping bags stuffed between my fridge and cabinets because I don’t have the heart to throw them away. I do my best to reuse them when I can- I’ve used them as packing material almost every time I move, I pack my lunches in them, and use them to pick up after my pooch when we go on walks. Obviously, the ultimate solution is to not have them in the first place, but this little trick helps keep the space and visual impact of having a stash of shopping bags around the house to a minimum.
Here is a video tutorial showing you how it’s done!
